New manuscript published by Daniel Wong and our partners Eddy Francot and Francois Gouth from Total

We have been investigating appropriate large scale representations of various complexity by comparing results for various gas production scenarios with fully resolved embedded discrete fracture models simulations. As often, the results show a delicate trade-off between accuracy and computational cost impeding general guidelines. However, a hyprid dual continuum approach with large fractures represented explicitly was most successful.
